Overview of the role: Accounting Assistant

• Handling basic data entry - heavy at times
• Assisting accounts receivable and applying/posting payments to correct accounts
• Following up on any overdue receivables
• Assisting accounts payable as needed entering invoices into system accurately
• Correcting pricing discrepancies and issuing credit memos when necessary
• Misc. tasks and projects as assigned - must be okay with handling multiple tasks at a time

Preferred Qualifications: Accounting Assistant

• Experience working in NetSuite is a huge plus!
• Strong data entry skills
• Ability to stay organized and have a strong attention to detail is a must!
• Understanding of AP processes, with some familiarity with GL coding in invoices
• Willingness to ask questions to ensure tasks are completed accurately
