High School Diploma or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required. GPS Source has an opening for an Advanced Customer Service Associate in our Colorado Spring, Colorado location. This person must have a minimum of 3 years recent experience at GPS Source. REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES AND TASKS: Maintains direct contact with customers before and/or after the sale Supports sales team by developing and maintaining positive customer relations with clients/customers, which can substantially affect service and/or product revenue(s) Works with various departments to meet maintenance services sales goals Works with customers and/or distributors to receive accurate account of equipment failures and provides reports to management Focus of work may be in pre-sale or post-sales or both An entry-level position in a field of specialization Provides support to customers through telephone and e-mail communications and walk-ins Coordinates incident/problem solving efforts between customers and remote site personnel Refers inquiries to appropriate technical, professional or service personnel for appropriate services, repairs, training, and follow-up Logs calls and updates account records At higher level, may solve desktop incidents/problems related to information systems hardware, operating systems and configuration Troubleshoots and conducts research to facilitate customer/user productivity KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Limited use and/or application of basic principles, theories, and concepts Limited knowledge of industry practices and standards Solves routine problems of limited scope and complexity following established policies and procedures Work is closely supervised Follows specific, detailed instructions Contributions are usually limited to task- related activities Developing professional expertise, applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action Builds productive internal/external working relationships Creative, innovative responsibilities requiring decision-making skills Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments May provide work direction to other employees; lacks authority to discipline or reward Proficient and able to perform all responsibilities associated with the position Grasps and applies new information quickly; handles more assignments Shows initiative on assignments, and professionally executes projects with little direction This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled. USD $26.74 - USD $28.68 /Hr.
