Job Description:

• You'll be a member of a cross-functional team responsible for developing Undersea Communication systems.

Preferred Skills or Experiences:

• High Voltage DC Power systems / Module design. Experience should include multiple power topology design experience from a few watts to KW+ converters.
• High voltage applications, power transmission systems, power electronics, and HVDC technology.

What Sets You Apart:

• Expert level understanding of electrical engineering computer-aided design (CAD) tools and mixed Signal circuit analysis/design.
• Solid use of electrical engineering concepts, principles, and theories.
• Circuit Design expertise.
• Analog design and instrumentation (design and analysis).
• Feedback / Control systems experience.
• Power System architecture and grounding.
• Isolated Switching Converters.
• Transmission Line Effects in power systems.
• EMI test and control methods (MIL-STD-461, FCC / IDE / VDE, etc).
• Magnetics Design and High-Speed Design experience are desirable.
• Strong troubleshooting ability: must be able to diagnose a problem by narrowing the point of failure sequentially through components.
• The use of specialized laboratory equipment such as spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and other test equipment for development, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Experience in writing specifications, requirements, and verification procedures for complex electronic systems and components.
• Ahead of technology trends with Research & Development (R&D) experience, as well as advanced proficiency in test, troubleshooting, and analyzing circuit card schematics.
• Motivated to drive innovation around design architectures, assembly, component selection, and electronics design.
• Exceptional collaboration and communication skills with demonstrated success leading design teams for complex projects.
• Team player committed to ongoing professional development for yourself and others.
• Ability to travel as needed.
