Proficiency in conducting in-person, comprehensive one-on-one subject and source interviews is essential for obtaining information about individuals' backgrounds and character in accordance with agency guidelines. You will need to review appropriate records meticulously to resolve material issues and establish the qualifications of the subjects under investigation.
Strong organizational skills will enable you to produce thorough reports within strict timelines while maintaining high-quality standards and meeting production metrics. As travel is a fundamental aspect of the role you must demonstrate adaptability in various environments and engage effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are crucial, allowing you to maintain professional relationships with government organizations, contractors, and law enforcement agencies, as well as produce detailed investigative reports.
A bachelor's degree or a High School Diploma with a minimum of 2-3 years relevant experience and a valid driver's license, along with reliable transportation, are required to thrive in this dynamic position.
