Job Posting: Behavioral Technician (BT)

Position Overview:

Harmony House ABA Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Technician (BT) to join our team providing in-home autism services. As a Behavioral Technician, you will work directly with individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), implementing evidence-based interventions to promote skill development, behavior improvement, and overall quality of life. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct one-on-one support to clients with ASD under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment plans to address skill acquisition and behavior reduction goals.
• Collect accurate data during sessions to track client progress and document behaviors.
• Maintain a positive and engaging environment to encourage learning and growth.
• Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and team members to ensure consistency in implementing treatment plans.
• Participate in training sessions and ongoing professional development opportunities.
• Adhere to ethical guidelines and confidentiality requirements.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• MUST have reliable transportation
• Must be 18yrs or older
• Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is a plus but NOT required. We will train.
• Excellent communication, patience, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and implement treatment plans with fidelity.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client locations if needed.
• Flexibility to work varying schedules, including evenings and weekends, as required by client needs.
• WE ARE ALSO LOOKING FOR SPANISH SPEAKING EMPLOYEES AND PEOPLE WHO LIVE IN OR NEAR THE NEW HAVEN AREA; OR PERSONS WHO ARE WILLING TO TRAVEL TO THAT AREA!!

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
