Behavior Technician

(Summer 2024, part-time: 8:30am - 4:00pm, M-F)

Job Description 

Integrated Behavioral Technologies, Inc. (IBT) is a group of caring individuals whose goal is to provide children and their families with the behavioral therapy services they need to succeed. We are a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization that serves children across the state of Kansas with a focus on rural and low-income areas. IBT is hiring a part-time,

Behavior Technician this summer (2024) at our clinic in Pittsburg, Kansas.

DSPs work as part of a treatment team implement behavioral interventions using an applied behavior analytic framework. Candidates must be enthusiastic, flexible, and have a strong interest in working with children with special needs, particularly those on the autism spectrum.

Minimum Qualifications

In addition to the requirements for each role listed above, applicants must:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Possess a valid ID, have reliable transportation and maintain appropriate auto insurance (unless previously agreed upon)
• Pass criminal background checks as required by each funding source.
• Possess interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate with clients, caregivers, and team members
• Be willing to work on a flexible schedule: Morning, Afternoon, Evening, between 8am-8pm, and some weekends

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with individuals with autism

Responsibilities and Requirements 

As part of their employment, employees must:

• Act professionally and treat clients with respect and dignity at all times.
• Data collection
• Engage in good communication skills

Employees must also achieve at least 80% accuracy on the initial IBT training within 14 days of employment. Employees failing to achieve 80% accuracy will be placed on unpaid administrative leave until this outcome can be achieved.

Job Types: Part-time 

Pay: Starting at $15.00 per hour (negotiable based on experience and education)
