We are a Managed Service Provider (MSP) specializing in IT solutions for small and medium-sized businesses. As we expand our focus on the metal industry , we are seeking a seasoned Business Development Representative (BDR) with at least 5 years of experience selling solutions to metal manufacturers, fabricators, and related businesses. This role offers a base salary starting at $80K , with additional performance-based incentives.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead Generation : Identify and connect with potential clients in the metal industry, including metal fabricators, foundries, and machine shops.
  • Consultative Selling : Engage with prospects to understand their challenges and demonstrate how our IT solutions—secure desktops, network management, cloud services, and ransomware prevention—can address their needs.
  • Relationship Building : Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including plant managers, IT directors, and business owners in the metal sector.
  • Industry Networking : Represent our company at industry events, trade shows, and networking groups to build awareness and connections.
  • Pipeline Development : Maintain and grow a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools, ensuring consistent follow-up and deal progression.
  • Collaboration : Work with marketing and technical teams to tailor proposals, presentations, and campaigns specific to the metal industry’s needs.

Qualifications :

  • Experience : Minimum of 5 years in B2B sales , specifically selling solutions to the metal industry (e.g., IT services, ERP systems, or manufacturing equipment).
  • Proven success in meeting or exceeding sales targets in the metal or manufacturing sector.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in CRM platforms.
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment.
  • Familiarity with IT services or technology solutions is a plus but not required.

Compensation :

  • Base Salary : Starting at $80K, with uncapped performance-based bonuses.
