Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and talented Car Wash Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader with strong management skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service. In this role, you will oversee car wash attendants, monitor sales activity data to evaluate progress, and develop and implement customer service goals. You will work to minimize organizational loss and damage claims while striving to achieve departmental profit goals. This position reports to the Manager and offers an opportunity to lead, foster learning and development, and serve others effectively.

Detailed Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor and train the carwash team to deliver excellent service experiences to guests.
  • Interact and engage with car wash guests and maintain high quality service and maintain
  • safety standards or environment.
  • Oversee daily car wash operations an explaining carwash services/process to guests
  • Motivate team members and maintain a high level of team spirit or team cohesiveness
  • Handle guest complaints effectively and professionally
  • Proactively drive Guest Engagement and motivate the team to engage with guests.
  • Handle complaints and make effective service recovery
  • Ensure high-quality services are delivered at all times.
  • Ensuring full tools and materials are available at all times while maintaining cleanliness,
  • hygiene and safety of the whole area.
  • Coordinates with other departments for any concerns.
  • Monitor inventory levels (storage), ordering and deliveries.
  • Ensure that staff receive consistent and proper communication.
  • Review performance record and staff assessment to promote growth and development
  • Delegate work assignments, tasks and schedules
  • Fill in as necessary when required
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and advancements in Auto care services.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, and consistently embrace and exemplify the company’s core values in all aspects of work.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred but not required. Years of experience in place of a degree with a High School diploma.
  • Minimum 2 years previous work experience as supervisor in a similar capacity.
  • Flexible in scheduled shifts, including early morning start times, weekdays, weekends and or holidays.
  • Enjoys interacting with guests
  • Team Player
  • Can communicates in English both written and oral
  • Enjoys being challenged

Experience & Functional Knowledge

  • Positive attitude and ethics which support our values and culture.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English to effectively interact with employees and guests.
  • Excellent customer service skills to ensure optimal customer satisfaction.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize.
  • Have experience driving different vehicle types such as a manual or automatic vehicle.
  • Understanding of NYC-specific regulations and compliance requirements related to automotive services, and safety regulations.
  • Typically will be working within the auto center and service area,
  • Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and holidays, depending on the business's operational needs.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various physical conditions, as required in an automotive environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
