Nashville General Hospital is hiring an Orthopedic Tech for full-time!

*Orthopedic Technician Certification required

The Orthopedic Tech is responsible for assisting physicians and team with patient care, clerical, environmental and organizational tasks. Rooms patients, obtains and documents vital signs. Applies casts, splints and other orthopedic devices.

As an Orthopedic Tech, you will :
  • Applies and removes casts, splints, and other orthopedic devices
  • Conducts patient and family education regarding orthopedic appliances
  • Teaches medical students and residents' application of casts, splints and otherh orthopedic devices
  • Assists RN in coordinating patient flow and rooming patients
  • Obtain age-appropriate vital signs upon admission
  • Documents patient care per established clinic policy and procedure
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Two years experience in healthcare setting (Orthopedic skills preferred)
  • Orthopedic Technician Certification required
  • BLS Required upon hire
