Coordinates the development of performance improvement processes, assists with compliance with internal and external standards and regulations through monitoring and promotion of continuous survey readiness for the Memorial Healthcare System Trauma and Acute Care Surgery Services.Responsibilities:
Analyzes trauma cases for prospective, concurrent, and retrospective review of documentation, care, and compliance with trauma policies and performance improvement indicators.Develops, implements, and facilitates quality evaluation, education, and improvement initiatives.Participates in multi-disciplinary rounds to ensure coordination of care. Assists in trauma resuscitation, when neededCommunicates with healthcare providers and community partners for the purposes of performance improvement, outreach, and education.Competencies:

Complexity of Work: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
