Registered Nurse (RN)

Status/FTE: FT/ 0.8-1.0

Shift length: 8 hours

Start Time: 0800

Unit: CPG Infectious Disease

Schedule Requirements (including weekends, holidays): Monday-Friday, No weekends or Holidays

Unit specific additional qualifications: (will be department specific)

Required qualifications:

  • Current state RN license
  • Associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school
  • BLS for Healthcare Provider upon hire
  • Two (2) years of experience within the last three years
  • Knowledge and experience with removal of PICC lines

Preferred qualifications:

  • BSN
  • Cerner experience

Additional Information/Department information: The RN utilizes the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing care of acute patients from admission to the department through discharge or transfer. Provides expert care and education to patients in the chemotherapy/infusion setting, acts as a patient advocate, leader, and mentor for assistive personnel. The RN is knowledgeable in all areas of oncologic nursing with expertise in delivery of chemotherapeutic and biologic agents.
