Cybersecurity Intern- Summer 2025 Responsible for assisting with the organization, development, and administration of cybersecurity infrastructure, documentation and governance systems. Communicates and works across multiple functional departments towards continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Provide organizational support of the company's ISO 27001 cybersecurity program and processes Conduct vendor cybersecurity assessments Support the management of the system inventory and system access reviews Edit, analyze and draft cybersecurity policies and procedures in compliance with NIST and ISO standards Assist with the development and administration of training infrastructure and processes Provide ongoing optimization and problem-solving support Review service performance reports identifying any significant issues and variances, initiating, where necessary, corrective actions and ensuring that all outstanding issues are followed-up Identify gaps or potential enhancements in existing security practices Take ownership and deliver, from end to end, work packages andproject allocated to you Keep your Line Manager and peers well informed of your activities, workload and availability Requirements Sixteen (16) semester credits in cyber security, network security, computer science, computer programming, computer engineering, information technology, information science, information systems management, network administration, or a pertinent scientific, technical or related area. Degree candidate preferred Familiarity with the various Cybersecurity Frameworks Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficiency and interest in technical writing Proficient in using Microsoft Office solutions (particularly Excel) Strong organizational and/or project management skills Knowledge of cyber threat, vulnerabilityand risk management Skills in problem solving Willingness to learn and a proactive work ethic Ability to work approximately 15- 29 hours/week This is an on site position at our State College, PA headquarters. Remote work is not an option for this position.
