Job Details

Overview:

Join a rapidly expanding restaurant group as our Director of Facilities Management, where you’ll oversee construction, renovations, and maintenance across multiple locations. This role is ideal for a strategic leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high standards of functionality, safety, and efficiency while minimizing operational disruptions.

Up to 70% travel required.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement facilities management policies and procedures.
  • Oversee construction, renovations, and maintenance across multiple locations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and building codes.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, CapEx, and maintenance projects.
  • Supervise contractors, review bids, and ensure quality workmanship.
  • Utilize company technology to track repairs, maintenance, and project timelines.
  • Provide off-hours support for urgent maintenance needs.
  • Research and implement cost-saving initiatives through technological advancements.
Requirements:

  • 8+ years of construction and facilities management experience (hospitality/restaurant industry preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • Expertise in building codes, safety standards, and large-scale project management.
  • Facilities Management Certification is a plus.
  • Strong leadership, budgeting, and vendor management skills.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, and PowerPoint.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to be on-call for emergency situations.
