What will you be doing?
Making an impact every day. You will be part of a dynamic, passionate team of professionals who workEducation and Employment Specialist provides employment consultations to EMPath program participants and is responsible for increasing the capacity of the organization and its staff in advancing the job placement of program participants. Activities include, although are not limited to, supporting program participants in building a career portfolio (resume, cover letter, etc), providing trainings/facilitated discussion with EMPath program teams to increase staff knowledge and abilities in supporting participants in obtaining employment, building relationships with Boston-area employers and job training programs to strengthen EMPath’s ability to make job and training referrals, and stay up to date and communicate with staff regarding job market trends.

Work-life balance: Full-time, hybrid work opportunity. EMPath transitioned to a 36-hour, 4-day work week. This position requires 2 days in-office (EMPath's offices are across the Boston metro) and 2 days remote. Some evenings and weekends may be required. 4 weeks of paid time off & 9 paid holidays.
