1. Job Overview:

Lola Blankets, the creator of the world’s softest luxury faux fur blankets, is seeking an Events Coordinator to lead the planning and execution of community activations, influencer events, and other brand-building experiences. This role involves working closely with the Marketing and Creative teams to conceptualize, organize, and bring events to life that align with Lola Blankets’ brand identity and marketing objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong event planning skills, a creative mindset, and experience in the retail or high-end brand sector. The Events Coordinator will play a key role in elevating Lola Blankets’ presence through engaging, memorable experiences.

2. Core Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute events, including community activations, influencer gatherings, pop-up experiences, and other brand-building initiatives
  • Manage event logistics, including venue selection, vendor coordination, budget management, and on-site execution
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Creative teams to develop event concepts that align with brand messaging and strategic goals
  • Identify and build relationships with influencers and brand partners to enhance event participation and visibility
  • Ensure all events are executed seamlessly, maintaining high-quality standards and aligning with Lola Blankets’ brand image
  • Develop event timelines, budgets, and status reports, tracking progress and ensuring deadlines are met
  • Oversee post-event activities, including performance evaluation, reporting, and maintaining relationships with attendees and partners
  • Support other brand awareness initiatives and assist in creating memorable experiences for customers and collaborators

3. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Event Planning, Communications, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in event coordination, preferably in the retail or high-end branding sector
  • Proven ability to manage multiple events simultaneously, with a keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Experience working with influencers and community partners to create impactful event collaborations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors
  • Proactive problem-solver with creativity and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with event planning software and tools to streamline workflows and track project progress (e.g., ClickUp Asana, etc.)

4. Compensation and Perks:

  • Salary: TBD. 10% annual bonus based on company and individual performance (bonus prorated to % of year employed with company)
  • $2K signing bonus (assumed to cover any WFH tech needs / computer)
