About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its community-focused organization, which is dedicated to meeting the social, educational, cultural, and recreational needs of urban residents. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping the long-term future of the organization in collaboration with a dedicated Board of Directors. This includes crafting and executing a strategic plan, expanding engagement and revenue opportunities, and ensuring the mission and values are effectively communicated and upheld. The role involves hands-on leadership, advocacy, and oversight of all operations, including program management, financial sustainability, fundraising, and community outreach. The ideal candidate will be a values-driven leader with a passion for the mission, capable of inspiring others, and committed to fostering a positive, inclusive culture. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should be entrepreneurial, strategic, and adept at building and maintaining partnerships. A strong background in financial management, fundraising, and a proven track record of leadership in a nonprofit or related setting is essential. The role requires a strategic fundraiser with experience in activating support from various sources, a team builder with a commitment to high performance, and a champion for equity and inclusion. The candidate should be a collaborative leader, a skilled communicator, and a proactive problem-solver. A bachelor's degree is preferred, and experience in community partnerships, particularly in the context of serving diverse families, is highly valued.
