Job Summary
Produces and/or distributes clean linen to CAMC and all outside contract services.
Responsibilities
* Provide high quality laundered linen for the needs of CAMC and contract serviced facilities. Demonstrate a willingness to learn the position. Maintain a clean, safe place to work. Comply with all CAMC rules for health, safety and personnel conduct. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Comply with all hospital rules regarding health safety and personal conduct. Perform work in alignment with the overall mission and strategic plan of the organization. Follow organizational and departmental policies and procedures, as applicable. Must be proficient on all linen equipment. Must be able to demonstrate the ability to prioritize the production of clean linen to meet the needs of the daily delivery schedule. Must be proficient and demonstrate the ability to operate the press, coinc as well as all functionality relating to operating the dryer system in its entirety. Demonstrate the ability to maintain set production goals and standards. Perform related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Specifically the employee must be able to demonstrate competency in: 1) ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of patient needs; 2) knowledge of growth and development; and 3) understanding of the range of treatment needed by the patients.
