This role requires hands-on experience with marine electrical systems, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. You will be tasked with ensuring that all electrical components of marine engines, propulsion systems, and onboard systems operate efficiently and comply with industry standards and safety regulations.

• Electrical Service Technician Responsibilities*
• Work closely with mechanical technicians to coordinate electrical work during engine repairs or overhauls.
• Conduct routine maintenance and safety inspections of electrical systems to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings, and manuals to perform accurate installations and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. Coast Guard and other regulatory bodies’ standards for electrical systems on vessels.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports, maintenance logs, and equipment evaluations.
• Provide technical support to customers regarding electrical system operations and maintenance.
• Electrical Service Technician Position Requirements*
• Must be capable of acquiring valid TWIC
• Valid Drivers License
• Must pass a criminal background check
• Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test
