POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for providing assistance to the Maritime Sustainment Group (MSG)/Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) Team and guidance to other department personnel. Analyze and track the procurement of Outfitting spares for various Government contracts. Will interface with Engineering, various Departments and customers. Be knowledgeable of contract clauses and/or language that define parameters for procuring of spares and adhere to/and document same. Have ability to assemble pricing data for aftermarket parts, proposals and track incurred costs to date.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Assist in training in areas of PTD, IDIQ, outfitting, spare parts and aftermarket parts
Expedite purchase orders as necessary; resolve any issues
Assist in preparation of Maritime Sustainment Plans and Scheduling; responsible for Maritime Sustainment CDRLs/ELIN submittals
Review: Buy List from the customer for procurement
Maintain liaison between departments, vendors, customer
Attend and prepare for all Maritime Sustainment meetings
Review and utilize contract clauses, language, parameters for procuring spares
Purchase the procurement of spare parts or other outfitting materials
Assemble pricing data for proposals and track incurred cost to date on various contracts
Assist in procurement of aftermarket parts
Perform other duties as directed by the Manager/Supervisor

While performing the duties of this job, the employee's workspace is in a clean and comfortable climate-controlled setting with little to no exposure to the moving equipment, elements, extreme conditions, or risk of injury. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet. When entering the shipyard, the work environment is not climate-controlled and there is exposure to moving equipment, etc.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge of the purchasing and outfitting processes
SKILLS Must be technically competent.
Must have excellent motivation, communication, and listening skills.
Must have strong Microsoft Office Suites computer skills as well as familiarity with word processing, database organization, spreadsheets, use of Internet, and other project specific software.
Must have strong organizational and time management skills.
