Who We Are St Johns Episcopal Hospital is the only hospital providing emergency and ambulatory care to the densely populated culturally and economically diverse and medically underserved populations of the Rockaways and Five Towns in southern Queens County and southwestern Nassau County New York Celebrating over 110 years of community care the 257 bed facility provides people of all faiths with comprehensive preventive diagnostic treatment and rehabilitative services regardless of ability to pay Come Grow With Us Type Full Time 75 hours biweekly Shift Days Hours Varies Salary 75000 104000 Job Summary We are looking for a Medical Informatics Project Manager to lead and manage complex IT and medical informatics projects from start to finish The ideal candidate will have a robust technical background exceptional communication skills and expertise in health informatics data management and healthcare regulations They should be adept at collaborating with clinical staff and understanding medical workflows with a proven history of successfully delivering IT and informatics projects Responsibilities Project Management Lead complex projects involving electronic health records EHR health data and IT systems ensuring timely and budget conscious deliveryTeam Leadership Develop and mentor a team of informatics and IT professionals fostering a collaborative and innovative environmentData Management Ensure accurate and secure management of health data facilitating improved decision making for healthcare providersChange Management Implement change initiatives to optimize clinical workflows and improve patient outcomesRequirements Bachelors degree in Health Informatics IT or related field; Masters preferredProven experience in project management within healthcare settings with an understanding of IT infrastructure networks and application developmentStrong leadership communication and analytical skillsProficiency in project management tools eg Jira Monday Asana Microsoft ProjectExperience with project management methodologies eg Agile Waterfall hybrid
