Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate all aspects of the onboarding process for new hires, including scheduling orientation sessions and preparing onboarding materials.
  • Create and maintain employee files, ensuring all required documents are complete and compliant with company policies.
  • Conduct new hire orientation sessions to familiarize employees with company policies, procedures and benefits.
  • Serve as a point of contact for new hires, addressing questions or concerns during their onboarding process.
  • Administer employee benefit programs, including enrollment, changes, and terminations in HRIS and benefits carrier systems.
  • Educate employees on available benefits, eligibility requirements, and enrollment processes.
  • Reconcile monthly benefit invoices and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Assist employees with benefits related inquires and liaise with carriers to resolve issues.
  • Assist with annual open enrollment, including preparation of materials and communication campaigns.
  • Process qualifying life events and maintain compliance with COBRA, HIPPA, ACA and other regulations.
  • Serve as the primary contact for FMLA, ADA and other leave-related requests.
  • Track FMLA usage, eligibility, and certification to ensure compliance.
  • Educate employees and managers on leave policies and processes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all leave requests and documentation.
  • Coordinate with payroll to ensure accurate tracking of benefits and paid and unpaid leave.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in onboarding, benefits administration, and leave management
  • Strong understanding of FMLA, ADA, ACA, COBRA and other employment regulations
  • Familiarity with reconciliation of monthly benefit statements.
