Job DescriptionThis position is in support of the Influx Care Facility located in Carrizo Springs, TX. The purpose of the facility is to provide comprehensive care for migrant youths ages 13 to 17 in the Care of the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) who are awaiting reunification or repatriation. This care will begin as soon as the youths arrive at the facility and last until their arranged departure with family or sponsors. The comprehensive care includes but is not limited to initial screening and exams, identifications of prior conditions and allergies, day to day care of routine, urgent and emergency medical conditions.
The Pharmacist Assesses, evaluates, manages and assists with medication therapies for patients for various medical problems on an outpatient and emergent basis. Doctorate degree practitioners may be credentialed for independent prescriptive authority in accordance with regulations of this contract. Assists all practitioners with medication information. May sit on other healthcare, policy, and administrative committees as determined by CMO. Maintains unsupervised key access to the Pharmacy and all stocked medications and is the immediate supervisor for all personnel with job access to the pharmacy. Maintains healthcare formulary, formulary stock, prescription records, and is responsible for all legend and controlled medications within the pharmacy. The Pharmacist is responsible for compliance with all regulations (DEA, FDA, DOD) governing medication procurement, storage, distribution and use within the program.

Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data.
Compensation| Min: $58hr Max: $73hr
