Job Summary:

Human Resources Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing candidates online, updating job ads and conducting background checks. This position will play an important part in building a strong employer brand for the company to ensure we attract, hire and retain the most qualified employees.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure all roles have updated and accurate job descriptions.
• Source potential candidates from various online channels (e.g. social media and professional platforms).
• Work with hiring managers to understand needs and timing; and ensure a smooth process.
• Craft recruiting emails to attract passive candidates.
• Screen incoming resumes and application forms.
• Interview candidates (via phone, video and in-person).
• Advertise job openings on company’s careers page, social media, job boards and internally.
• Provide shortlists of qualified candidates to hiring managers.
• Extend verbal and written job offers and answer queries about compensation and benefits.
• Monitor and track key HR recruiting metrics, including time to fill, time to hire and source of hire.
• Participate in job fairs and host in-house recruitment events.
• Collaborate with managers to identify future hiring needs.
• Act as a consultant to new hires and assist them with the onboarding process.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Proven work experience as an HR Recruiter or similar role.
• Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases.
• Experience with sourcing techniques.
• Solid verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Effective Time Management skills.
• Effective negotiation skills for discussing salary and benefits with candidates.
• Sound judgement.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university or similar work experience preferred.
• 1-3 years previous experience in recruitment or HR

Physical Requirements :

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
• Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
