Description: The Sales Manager will develop and train RV Sales Specialists, maximize gross profit for variable operations, and maintain a high level of customer and employee enthusiasm.
Responsibilities: The Sales Manager’s responsibilities are to include, but not limited to: Following the AC Nelsen World Class Customer Experience Sales Process. The profitability of the variable operations by working with other Team Leaders and managers in common goals of maximizing the positive outcome of every transaction. Utilizing tools provided to properly train and maintain our Sales Process. The Sales Manager will take direction from the General Sales Manager to promote growth and development to achieve sales department and finance department baseline expectations.
Functions: Essential duties and responsibilities include the following – other duties may be assigned.
· Hiring RV Sales Specialists – and completing performance evaluations
· Developing short and long-term goals for each RV Sales Specialist while nurturing individual growth
· Planning short and long-term sales and finance goals with General Sales Manager to submit to organizational leadership for approval.
· Effectively communicate with General Sales Manager daily to review and track all sales forecasts.
· Being attentive to daily CRM activity to ensure that all opportunities are managed and addressed properly and effectively.
· Exercising all policies and procedures of the dealership to set an example for all team members while ensuring our processes and core values are followed by all.
· Ability to assist all RV Sales Specialists at any time.
· Coordinating with Finance Associates to ensure 100% accuracy.
· Coordinating with Service Department on deliveries of sold units.
· Creating and maintaining positive relationships with all manufacturer representatives
· Resolving all customer/employee/vendor conflicts within capacity and report up any inabilities to rectify.
· Other duties as assigned.

Considerable knowledge of:
· Strong leadership and organizational skills
· Managing a diverse team of RV Sales Specialists
· Communication and sales techniques
· Fluent business acumen
Working knowledge of:
· Industry specific software including IDS, MenuSys, AppOne, TheCRM
· Basic math skills and ability to work with numerical detail.
· Organizing workflow and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
· Computer operation literacy
Skill sets:
· Decision making ability in a fast-paced environment.
· Self-motivated ongoing education in RV Industry standards.
· Used market of RV and value pricing for trade-ins.
· Developing and elevating an elite team of RV Sales Specialists.
Ability to:
· Work varying shifts, weekends, and holidays.
· Effectively train and develop sales team.
· Embrace an enthusiastic culture.
· Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all team members.
· Follow written and verbal instructions.
· Follow expectations of management and assist in achieving all benchmark measurables.
Education & Individual Requirements:
· Minimum of 3 years in dealership leadership position(s)
· High School Diploma or the equivalent
· Professional references
· Professional appearance
· Valid Drivers License with a clean, insurable, driving record.
