Senior Front-end Developer (Vue.js) Description

We are looking for a talented Senior Front-end Developer with expertise in Vue.js to join our e-commerce team at one of America's leading grocery retailers.

This position entails developing top-tier front-end solutions, showcasing Vue.js skills, and cooperating with back-end developers to create impeccable user experiences for our patrons.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and evolve front-end applications for self-service and administration portals
• Design intuitive and adaptive user interfaces for big data applications and platform components
• Optimize and enhance Vue.js components and functionalities
• Uphold code quality through diligent use of linting tools and adherence to coding standards
• Work collaboratively with back-end developers to meld front-end and server-side logic
• Engage in code reviews and contribute insights in technical dialogues
• Keep abreast of emerging trends and technologies in front-end engineering

Requirements

• 3+ years of practical experience in Vue.js development paired with TypeScript
• Solid comprehension of JavaScript core concepts
• Expertise in SCSS, CSS, Tailwind, embracing responsive design principles
• Competency in using Git for version management
• In-depth understanding of Vue.js ecosystem and component-oriented architecture
• Experience in handling state management, Vuex, and microfrontends within Vue.js frameworks
• Familiarity with contemporary front-end build tools and processes
• Proficiency in leveraging GraphQL for schema design and query refinement
• Understanding of Backend for Frontend (BFF) pattern, caching using Redis, and session handling tactics
• Grasp of RESTful API designs, front-end authentication protocols, and deployment strategies suited to microfrontend setups
• Capabilities with Vue.js related tools and libraries like vue-property-decorators, Vuex-module-decorators, Apollo Client
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure DevOps, inclusive of git artifacts pipeline
• Basic grasp of Microsoft Azure cloud solutions and familiarity with SQL or big data systems

Nice to have

• Exposure to microfrontend frameworks or tools (e.g., Single-SPA, Module Federation)
• Experience utilizing code quality instruments (Prettier, ESLint)
• Background in microfrontend architecture concepts
