U.S. Water Services Corporation/USW Utility Group, a well-established and diverse water and wastewater utility operations, maintenance, engineering, and construction company, has an opening for a Wastewater Operator in Mercedes, Texas. U.S. Water is a fast paced and rapidly expanding company with a current staff of over 700 employees in eighteen states.
GENERAL FUNCTION: The Wastewater Plant Operator will report to the Wastewater Plant Supervisor. The Wastewater Plant Operator will be responsible for various activities in support of the wastewater treatment plant and lift stations. The Wastewater Operator performs manual labor and semi-skilled work in the maintenance, operation, repair and construction of the treatment plant and lift stations. Duties are performed under the direct supervision of the Wastewater Plant Supervisor.
