Job Description

Bashor Children's Home is seeking energetic, caring, and dedicated Youth Care Workers to support and guide troubled youth (ages 8-18) in a therapeutic setting. In this role, you will supervise and assist youth with their personal growth and safety, while promoting positive behavioral changes. Key Responsibilities

• Create a safe and supportive environment for youth
• Supervise and assist youth with their personal development and well-being
• Work with a team to create individualized care plans for each youth
• Help youth build life skills, coping strategies, and problem-solving abilities
• Lead group activities for social and personal growth
• Monitor and document youth behavior and progress
• Manage crisis situations and apply de-escalation techniques when needed
• Collaborate with staff and professionals to implement effective care plans
• Attend staff meetings and training to improve skills

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be 21 or older
• Valid driver’s license and insurance
• Must pass background, physical exam, drug test, and TB test.

Full Time 2nd Shift or PRN is available.

The full time schedule rotates with 4 days on and 2 days off. Scheduled shifts begin at 1:30PM and end at 10PM.
Full time staff are required to work on call shifts.

Unlike a traditional part-time position, a PRN role is entirely driven by your schedule and the agency's needs. You can work as few as 0 hours or as many as 28 hours per week. This makes it an ideal opportunity for those seeking work-life balance or a flexible work arrangement.

Hourly rates for PRN start at $15/hour.
Hourly rates for full time, 2nd shift staff starts at $19.41/hour
