This position offers a base salary range of $106,016 - $176,693 per year, depending on experience and qualifications, plus bonus based on company performance.

Overview:Work collaboratively with Product Management, IT, and Business teams to design systems that provide a competitive advantage for Sheetz. Function as a trusted advisor to provide technical guidance based on business requirements and industry best practices. Responsible for coordinating with Architecture and IT teams to ensure that systems can be deployed and supported efficiently.
Responsibilities:1. Lead the development of the technical design of business solutions and assess the technical complexity and level of effort for projects, as a key input to roadmap and prioritization.
2. Provide expert technical and industry guidance to portfolio stakeholders and act as a mentor to less experiences Solutions Architects.
3. Advocate for technical and non-functional requirements and projects to be represented in the roadmap.
4. Identify dependencies across systems and teams for technical solutions.
5. Participate in evaluations of software packages and assess buy versus build decisions and total cost of ownership; perform ongoing research on new technologies, making recommendations on opportunities.
6. Work collaboratively with Domain Architects and other stakeholders to ensure the project work meets standards and requirements are met.
7. Catalog and diagram services and functionality in accordance with business and architecture requirements. Develop other technical documentation as appropriate.
8. Contribute and adhere to the Enterprise Architecture team's processes, templates, and procedures.
9. Collaborate with Enterprise Architect to define and lead Solutions Architect team standards and procedures.
10. Collaborate with Domain Architects to translate general Architecture best practices into product lines.

Education
• Bachelor’s degree in any field, with courses in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or Computer Engineering is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering is preferred.
Experience
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in a technology environment is required.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a senior software engineer, senior software developer, or similar role is required.
• Prior experience as a Solution Architect is preferred.
Licenses/Certifications
• Professional certification in one or more cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is preferred.
• Professional certification in systems or design thinking is preferred.
