ROLE OVERVIEW

We're looking for a passionate Professional Learning Consultant to join our team and implement our professional development services in schools and districts. You'll be working on-site with our partners, particularly in San Jose, CA, helping educators strengthen their practice and increase student achievement.

This role involves delivering professional development workshops, coaching teachers, and building relationships with school leaders. You'll also collaborate with administrators to set and meet goals aligned with our framework.

Contracts are assigned based on availability and skills. Your work will occur year-round, including during the summer.

YOUR IMPACT

• Lead program implementation for school partnerships, providing a mix of in-person and remote support.
• Build and manage strong relationships with school and district leaders.
• Facilitate professional development workshops and coaching sessions, empowering teachers to improve their instructional practices.
• Offer personalized support to teachers through classroom observations and feedback.
• Collaborate with teachers to set goals aligned with our framework and track progress.
• Communicate experiences from the field to inform program improvements and share key insights with the team.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're seeking someone who:

• Is passionate about our mission to advance educational equity.
• Holds a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
• Has 5+ years of K-12 teaching experience and 3+ years of coaching teachers.
• Is experienced in delivering professional development and working with youth from underserved communities.
• Understands Culturally Responsive Teaching and Social Emotional Learning practices.
• Is skilled in leveraging technology to support instruction.
• Can effectively manage a complex schedule and thrive under pressure.

Preferred

• Experience managing school partnerships.
• Expertise in working with English Language Learner populations.
• Experience as a school or district leader.
• A Master's degree or higher in education.

COMPENSATION

This role offers a competitive per-diem rate of $650-750, based on your experience in coaching or school leadership.
