Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Record Reviewer to join our team in a remote capacity. In this role, you'll review medical records to identify pre-existing conditions or diagnoses, ensuring the smooth processing of healthcare claims. This position is production-based, offering flexible hours to fit your schedule. You'll need to meet a minimum production goal, and while the role is remote, you will be responsible for providing your own equipment, including a PC/laptop, reliable internet connection, and a private workspace. A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license is required, with a Bachelor's degree preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Review medical records thoroughly to identify pre-existing conditions or diagnoses.
Support healthcare claims processing by ensuring accurate and timely assessments.
Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of all reviewed records.
Efficiently handle a high volume of reviews to meet production goals (Minimum of 4 files per hour).
Use company systems and software for managing records and generating reports.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth workflow and resolve any issues that arise.
Qualifications:

LPN license required; Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field preferred.
Proven experience in medical record review or a similar role.
Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Ability to meet and exceed production goals in a high-volume environment.
Proficient with computer systems and software applications.
Must have access to own equipment: PC/laptop, a reliable internet connection, and a private workspace.
This is a 1099 per-diem (per-file) position. Please contact us for contract rates for LPNs and RNs.
