Our partners and customers span a wide range of industries across the US, Latin America, Africa and Europe. We've got great traction in health: Helping to provide innovative testing solutions to tackle the COVID-19 pandemic around the globe. We're also testing for respiratory pathogens in Philadelphia, Malaria and Ebola virus in Africa, Avian Influenza in Europe, veterinary targets in the Andes and Lyme disease in the US. Outside of health, we have partners in industrial quality control in a variety of markets, water monitoring, aquaculture, agriculture, conservation biology and more. High school students are testing for mislabeled sushi. Quantified Selfers are tracking their microbiome. Everyday users are even testing their own DNA for genetic markers.

Experience and QualificationsBA or BS in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or related laboratory science. 3-5 years related lab/industrial experience. MS in similar fields with 0-2 years post graduate lab or industrial experience.
Job DescriptionScientists at Biomeme serve cross-functional roles, with the majority of time at the bench in support of R&D of Biomeme’s novel nucleic acid detection and extraction technologies. Scientists may be asked to work semi-independently on projects and may also interface with other groups such as Quality and Engineering in support of their efforts.
