Accessory Product Specialist E-Commerce Qualifications: The position is expected to support the Accessories, Tires and Lifestyle team to achieve uploading product information from various BMW resources (pictures, copywrite, part contingencies) to the recently launched all-new E-Commerce Site. Position Requirements • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience • MS Office Advanced /data management experience • Knowledge of American English to transfer from UK English • Experience working with various on-line media (i.e., tiff, jpeg) • General knowledge of parts and accessories/automotive • E-commerce experience • Marketing experience • Attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and self-motivated • Partially remote - Training will be onsite Responsibilities: Main Responsibilities • Collate product information from various BMW resources (pictures, copywrite, part contingencies) to upload in recently launched all-new E-Commerce Site. • Responsible for performing data entry and could include physical technical parts verifications against various on-line media (i.e., tiff, jpeg), catalogue drawings. • Provide quantity validation, physical part characteristic validation to support e-commerce platform parts tech and parts supply. • Prepares source data for computer entry by compiling, sorting information, establishing entry priorities. • Processes customer and account source documents by reviewing data for deficiencies; resolving discrepancies by using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team leader for resolution. • Enters parts and accessories data by inputting alphabetic and numeric information. • Maintains data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures. • Verifies entered parts and accessories data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data, combining data from various systems and formats. When filed information is incomplete; purging files to eliminate duplication of data. • Manage product issues that arise with internal Aftersales Team. • Collaborate with the Accessories, Tires and Lifestyle team. • Ensure that all product information on marketing materials and websites are accurate and current. • Research market technology and product trends. • Perform competitive analysis and comparison of accessories from other OEM Markets. • Collate and share information with field teams to ensure awareness of new and existing Accessory/Lifestyles products during launch phase. • Liaise with Aftersales field teams to record information on new and existing special editions. • Respond to inquiries for assistance with product or program questions for Accessories/Lifestyles Comments/Special Instructions * Looking for senior level of someone that can come in with minimal training. * BA degree required or equivalent years of experience. * The position is expected to support the Accessories, Tires and Lifestyle team to achieve uploading product information from various BMW resources (pictures, copywriter, part contingencies) to the recently launched all-new E-Commerce Site. . * This is a priority Requisition for a short term project. Target start date 8/1/2024. Short Term Assignment until 10/31/2024. * Work schedule will Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm with 45 mins lunch. Total 36.25/week. * Training on-site; position will be partially remote. * Candidate will work with the Accessories, Tires and Lifestyle Team - 11 members. * The candidate will be collating product information from various BMW resources (pictures, copyright, part contingencies) to upload in recently launched all-new E-Commerce Site. Must have advance MS Office experience /data management / Knowledge of American English to transfer from UK English. Must have experience working with various online media (i.e., tiff, jpeg). General knowledge of parts and accessories/automotive. E-commerce experience. Marketing experience.
